About us

Why and how we do what we do

Company History

I Can Make was formed in 2014, to help children and adults learn about 3D printing, and discover the huge potential it has for changing how we make things in the future. We create simple, fun, exciting kits, for use in school or at home.

We have been funded by Bethnal Green Ventures, the Nominet Trust and angel investors. We're currently part of the Wayra Unlimited startup programme. We've also been fortunate to have been mentored by the Open Data Institute and Ignite100.

We were finalists at Pitch to Rich 2014, where we pitched to Sir Richard Branson and were described as 'ones to watch' and more recently pitched to HRH The Duke of York at St James' Palace as a finalist in .

Institutional partnerships

As well as designing our own products, we work with institutions, to explore how they can use 3D printing to examine and disseminate their collections in new ways.

Investment

In late 2015 we will be raising a round of investment to fund our international growth. If you are interested in investing either follow us on Angel List or .
